Former Shuttlewood water treatment works. Possibly a way of forming a connection to the old Oxcroft Branch Line and then onto Seymour from the Oxcroft/Bolsover area

Site of former Shuttlewood water treatment works, all been flattened now, but the old track to the site remains, and could provide access to Mill Lane/ the former oxcroft disposal point site.

Old lane up to Bentinck Road. The terraced houses were built for Oxcroft Colliery, and the lane was used by the miners to get to work until the colliery closed in the 1970s.

Drainage channels under Woodhouse Lane. There is/was an underpass here, it was filled in after the landscaping of the former pit tip was completed.

Filling station at St Dennis looking towards the incinerator.

Secure cycle parking at Glenfield Hospital main entrance.

A newly designated cycle link between Green Lane and Gorsey Brow, with new barriers.

  • Icon 108273 Wyndham Road is in a central location, with a school on the road and another nearby. It is also part of the cycle super highway route. It has many residents but no secure cycle storage. Given parking is so difficult, giving residents the option to store bikes would be very helpful for commuters and encouragepeople to see cycling as an option.
